ECN - European Compost Network e.V. and RETERRA Service GmbH
She is the Chair of ECN's Task Group on Fertilisers and represents ECN in the Commission's Expert Group on Fertilising Products. Since 2015 she is elected as representative of the German Quality Assurance Organisation in the ECN Board Member. After graduation in agricultural engineering and obtaining a PhD degree in 1993, she worked for several years as quality- and product manager in private companies operating biowaste composting plants. Within her professional career at RETERRA she is involved in the development of tailor-made compost-based organic fertilisers, soil improvers and growing media and she is following actively the legislative developments on biowaste and fertiliser management in Germany and on European level. She is a long-standing member in the board of the German Quality Assurance Organisation BGK e.V. and the German Association of the Humus-and Substrate Industry VHE e.V.
