This working meeting, bringing together members of ESPP, of national Nutrient Platforms, and of EU industry federations aims to discuss:
- What to propose for recycled nutrients and secondary fertilisers in the upcoming EU Circular Economy Act ?
(for which the Commission’s draft Act is expected after the summer, and will then go to European Parliament and Member States (Council) for discussion and amendment) - In the context of the Fertiliser Action Plan (19th May), Biotech II Act (underway), other EU policy initiatives.
Outline programme :
- Short summary of what is currently ongoing: Circular Economy Act, Biotech II, Fertilising Products Regulation (evaluation, NMI new materials study, ABP amendment …), Fertiliser Action Plan, and others.
- Case studies from national Platforms or industry federation members on placing recycled nutrients on national/EU markets: success stories, obstacles, questions …. (candidates welcome)

- Flash presentations (1-2 slides) of proposals for “what we should ask for in the Circular Economy Act”
